Welcome to my newly designed blog! That goofy character up there in the banner is the main character in my newest favorite anime, Niea_7 (Nee-yah Under 7). She's a naughty, lazy, freeloading alien who sometimes collects junk with which she makes UFOs. Hehe. This design update was made on the last day of August. The 'Ber months are here! Here's a nice list of Fantasy authors and their works, for those who are always on the lookout for new stuff to read! http://www.sff.net/people/Amy.Sheldon/listcont.htm I think this is how I found out about Jane Yolen's "Pit Dragon Trilogy" around 5 years ago. I printed the entire site before so I could browse for titles by authors i don't know about and then try to buy them. I also found out about Craig Shaw Gardner's "The Dragon Circle" trilogy. Hehe, i'm obviously into dragons. I have so many books I haven't read yet, which is also a good reason for not buying any new books from the Book Fair. Aside from the fact that I have no money to buy anything with. Haha, I'm consoling myself. I used to scour every corner of the book fair for fun finds, but I didn't even do that this year. Just went around skimming through the displays, but I wasn't really hoping to find anything. There were lots of Tolkien and Tolkien-related titles, so it was very frustrating to not have cash. But, with Amazon just a click away, I'm not too worried. When I do get the money, I can always find those books online. Plus, Jorge's going to LA in October, so I'm drafting a list of pabili's for him, hehe. I have so many things to spend on come the end of the year: November: The Collectors Extended Edition FOTR DVD December: Premiere tickets to TTT The Art of The Two Towers (amazon) Tickets to the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert (Dec 8, 1500++) I gotta find more rackets soon. Ack!
